Events

The Chatham Police Association sponsors several annual events throughout the year. These events focus on helping Chatham as a community.  For example, before the start of school and at Christmas time, police officers take students to “Shop-With-A-Cop” at local department stores. This allows students to buy much needed school supplies in September or gifts for their family in December.  One of our largest events is also during the Christmas season, where the association sponsors a Toys-for-Tots drive.  We have continued to provide support to Children’s Cove, a child advocacy center for abused children. 

We continue to support local youth sports, school field days and social programs. One of our largest and most well-received efforts was our annual Reassurance Luncheon.  This highly attended event gives our senior citizens who are part of the Chatham Police Reassurance Program the opportunity to get out and enjoy a wonderful meal together with the police department staff and to celebrate the holiday season.  Again, without your help, these endeavors would not be possible.
